Finding Radio Stations in Your New City
If you’ve just moved to a San Antonio apartment or are just visiting the area, end your radio station search with this list of San Antonio radio stations. You’re bound to find something you like, but if this list isn’t comprehensive enough for you, check Radio Locator for more radio stations across the country.
Country – If you’re looking for country music, KJ 97.3 is a good place to start. This station is pumping out tunes by Sugarland, George Strait, Alan Jackson, Carrie Underwood, Rascal Flatts, Taylor Swift and all your favorites. And, if one country station isn’t enough to quench your thirst, then flip over to Y100.3 for more.
Rap/Hip Hop – You can hear the current hip hop sounds on KBBT 98.5 The Beat. They’re featuring artists like Lil’ Wayne, Birdman, David Banner, Rick Ross, Ludacris, Plies and a whole lot more. Classic Rock – KzEP 104.5 Classic Rock is cranking out the oldies just the way you like it with a little Lynyrd Skynyrd, Aerosmith, Heart, Pink Floyd, Kansas and the Rolling Stones. And, you can get more classic rock throughout the day with streaming radio on their website.
Jazz – KRTU 91.7 is the place to go if you’re looking for some smooth Jazz. This station is ran by Trinity University and plays jazz favorites from 5am to 10pm. This is a non-commercial station and is designed to provide quality programming to the community and offer communications opportunities for students.
Religious – Contemporary Christian is available on KZLV 91.3. “Positive and Encouraging” is their motto, and they’re playing hits by Mercy Me, Third Day, Chris Tomlin, Natalie Grant, Matt Maher and more. You can also listen to current playlists on their website.
Spanish Radio – Tune in to KROM 92.9 for Spanish talk radio and new hit music. Visit the website to chat and learn more about music news. And, for more Latin sounds check out Tejano on KXTN 107.5. You can listen live on their website, look at playlists and request songs.

Classical – To find a radio station playing classical music 24 hours a day, turn to KPAC 88.3.
